Shree Shree 1008 Shree Ganesh Ji Maharaj With Riddhi & Siddhi is very old temple on the palace of Rajgarh (Alwar). It is very heart touch place for devotee and visitors.
The Ganesh Temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha is located at Machari Chok, about 1 kms from rajgarh railway Station.
It is said that : In 1800 AD King built a temple of Lord Ganesh and placed Riddhi Siddhi, his wife. His vehicle mushak (mouse) is also placed there.
Ganesh Chaturthi holds a special place in Rajgarh and is celebrated to commemorate the origin of Lord Ganesh, who is said to have been born on this day. The Ganesha temple at rajgarh is one of the most eminent Ganesha temples of Rajasthan.
On this day, thousands of devotees visit the temple. There are songs and 'bhajans' praising Lord Ganesha. The area has its own share of markets where you can find general merchandise and small trinkets to shop for.

A good day to visit the place is Wednesday, the day of the Lord Ganesh, when a lot of local people visit the Ganesh temple dressed in their best finery. Traditionally people send the first wedding invitation card here for the Lord’s blessings. As per folklore, the first wedding invite sent here was Lord Krishna and Rukmini’s marriage, roughly dating the temple to 6500 years! So what happens to all the wedding cards? The envelopes are recycled for giving prasad and the cards are cleared periodically!
